When asked to describe the Upper North Shore, most people will say leafy streets, stately homes, manicured gardens and world-renowned schools - this of course is true. I remember spending time in the beautiful parks, taking weekend walks along hiking trails, my beloved school ‘The Bush School’ in Wahroonga and those beautiful homes that still line the street on Burns Rd. Living on the North Shore was like living in The Enchanted Garden. It has an appeal that portrays beauty, grandeur and many childhood memories.

I have now moved back to Wahroonga with my husband so he too can enjoy the beauty that I grew up in as we start a family. Here in the Upper North Shore, my husband Shane, a qualified Builder, and I have continued to grow our business, Dependabuild. 

Dependabuild was born in 2019 after Shane had been working for 10 years as a carpenter and then became a qualified builder on the Northern Beaches - I was also working on the Northern Beaches as we established our Building Business. Very quickly, we served many clients on the Northern Beaches and Upper North Shore and received countless reviews and compliments for our work. Shane has an impeccable eye for detail and this has been well regarded amongst our clients. We are proud to have built the company from a small establishment where we have received much of our work through referrals from past clients. This has only have been possible because of the integrity and values that we strive to provide to our customers.

Homes throughout the Upper North shore have always been of grand proportion. Many artists, writers and architects took up residence in the area with the arrival of the railway line in 1890, attracting homes of luxury with high ornate ceilings, rambling gardens, stylish federation and art deco styles offering space and the added extravagance of a tennis court.
